Avoid Putting Your Safety - and Money - at Risk with a Preventive Maintenance Plan

If your HVAC system isn't performing up to snuff, you wouldn't necessarily know it.  A trained, properly equipped service technician from Holtkamp can help ensure you'll be safer and avoid wasting money on utilities.

Every System Needs Periodic Cleaning

HVAC systems, including both heating and cooling, must be cleaned periodically.  A filter change must be conducted annually, or else air system flow is reduced.  This means your system has to work harder to force air through, which drives utility cost up.  Furnaces, particularly older ones, may perform poorly, meaning you could be spending hundreds of dollars on wasted gas and / or electricity.

Older Systems May Pose Safety Hazards

Furnaces made before 1992 are required to have the rust removed from their heat exchangers annually.  And modern furnaces have "aluminized steel and stainless steel" heat exchangers which can and will crack without proper maintenance.  This type of failure can lead to low levels of CO (carbon monoxide) leakage, while giving every appearance that they are operating normally.

Unfortunately, most homeowners are either not aware of these dangerous and potentially expenses (if untreated) situations with their home heating units.

Not All 'Maintenance Plans' are the Same!  Get Peace of Mind with a $146 Annual Preventive Maintenance Check

While lesser HVAC companies may do a routine or light inspection, At Holtkamp Heating & Air Conditioning, our customers sleep well at night knowing their units are serviced using a through, in-depth, and comprehensive 15-Point Service. Not some quickly done, so-called inspection.

We do need to warn you though ...please don't expect a quick 10 minute service call. In order to ensure your system is operating to its maximum efficiency, it often takes closer to an hour for our technicians to compete this important service.

But our customers don't seem to mind, and we are betting you won't either.  Why not take a few seconds to review just some of our service steps below:
